PiXL International works predominantly with schools in rural communities. The difference for students in these schools passing and failing their exams is huge. Students who fail their exams do not often proceed with their education unless they retake their school year and/or the exams, at significant cost to their family.
The effects of young people leaving school without qualifications are detrimental to the whole of society. No one group suffers more from this outcome than women and girls.
